Likened to some other cities in Spain, Madrid's architecture doesn’t compare as favorably. But this can be forgiven for the fact that Madrid vibrates with vigour and with its cultural side and energetic night life it is actually a remarkable place to travel to.

The noted Museo Del Prado on the museum mile points goes of many famous Spanish and European painters originating from the Renaissance period. The other big two museums to travel to, there are the Museo Del Nacinal Centro de Arte Reine Sofia and the Museo Thyssen Bornemiza.

One Time you have had your fill of all the museums you may need to visit the Plaza Del Toros, Madrid's famous bullring. This still hosts regular bullfights. Still another legendary sporting place to visit is of course the Home of Real Madrid football club the Bernabeu Stadium. The conditions in Madrid can be a bit extreme as it is the highest Capital city in Europe. It has throbbing hot summers and freezing down cold winters.

Another places to visit in Madrid are as follows.

Goyas Tomb: It is in the Glorieta de San Antonio de la Florida and is a pleasing old chapel that Goya decorated with a fresco,Goya was also buried here.

Plaza Mayor: This is the most known square in Madrid, go there to sip a sangria, masses find out and enjoy the improvised musical functioning.

It is teeming with various things to visit like the vast gardens lakes and fountains. The park is at its most busy at weekends when it actually comes to life with many buskers and clowns taking over.
